WHAT FIRST NOTE ARE AUTHORIZED ?
The harmonization will start obligatory on the first degree chord, minor or major (the chord C for instance in the key of C) : no solution will be found if the first note is not part of this chord (in our C exemple, the first not should be a C, E or G).
WHAT ARE THE PLANNED FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS ?
It is plan in the future to include additional seventh chords, to generate chords sequences and to add embellishing notes : neighboring tone, anticipation, passing tone, es cape tone, suspension, etc.
WHY "ANSWER" TYPE PROVIDESÂ NO SOLUTION IS MOST CASE ?
In Answer type of harmonization, the constraints are maximum in order to provide a feeling of an end. In particular the last note of the melody should be equal to the first degree of the key used, that is C for a melody in key C, or F for a melody in key F (or different if the harmonization engine explores possible modulations). Try to modify the last notes of your melody.
